Description
Primark, a global fashion retailer, is launching an investment plan that will create over 300 new retail jobs across Spain and Portugal in 2026. The expansion includes a new store in Talavera de la Reina, refurbishment of 11 existing Spanish outlets (including locations in Albacete, Algeciras, Cartagena, Cornellà de Llobregat, Fuengirola, Pamplona, Roquetas de Mar, Santander, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Zaragoza, and Santiago de Compostela) as well as the opening of four new stores in Portugal’s Oporto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Castelo Branco, and Setúbal, and the expansion of its Forum Coimbra outlet.
The initiative is part of Primark’s strategy to strengthen its presence on the Iberian Peninsula and to celebrate its 20th anniversary in Spain, driving growth through new store openings and modernised shopping spaces.
