Description
Sopra Steria, a French IT services and consulting group, announced a 2026 hiring plan that will add 900 new professionals in Spain. The company aims to strengthen its technology support teams for banking, aerospace, public, retail and insurance sectors across the five Spanish zones where it is currently deployed, namely Centro (Madrid), Levante (Valencia, Alicante), Cataluña (Barcelona), Sur (Sevilla, Málaga, Algeciras, Extremadura) and Norte (País Vasco, Santander).
The expansion is driven by the group’s focus on digital transformation, especially artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity and data platforms, positioning Spain as a key hub for high value services. Most new hires (97%) will be permanent, with roles ranging from developers and architects to consultants and project managers. The recruitment is expected to conclude by the end of 2026.
