Description
ID Logistics, a contract logistics service provider, is opening a new logistics centre in Alsdorf, creating around 300 new jobs. The site will be gradually put into operation from July 2026 and full capacity is expected by the second quarter of 2027.
The positions will be filled in the areas of IT, operations such as forklift driving and order picking, as well as management roles. The company has leased a logistics property from Logicor in order to make its logistics processes more efficient. ID Logistics aims to continue growing, as online commerce is an expanding sector.
The company employs around 55,000 people worldwide, including about 4,000 in Germany.
