Description
Nachsorgeklinik am Straussee, a German healthcare and rehabilitation provider, officially opened its new family-oriented rehabilitation clinic for children and adolescents with heart diseases in Strausberg, Brandenburg, on 24 April 2026. The new facility will create up to 120 qualified jobs in medical, therapeutic, administrative, technical and support functions.
The opening addresses a shortage of family-oriented rehab services for children with heart disease in eastern Germany, filling a long-standing care gap and offering treatment for up to 58 young patients. Positions will be filled in clinical and support units immediately after launch. Financing came from Brandenburg and GLS Gemeinschaftsbank.
