Description
North Food Polska, the Polish operator of the North Fish and John Burg restaurant chains, filed for bankruptcy after losing liquidity and has started group redundancies affecting 163 employees across multiple locations in Poland.
The restructuring includes outlet closures, including two restaurants in Kielce, where 37 workers have already been affected. The redundancies were notified to the Kielce labour office on 17 March 2026 and are planned to be carried out by the end of July 2026. In mid-January 2026, the company operated 34 restaurants across Poland.
