Description

Windar Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the Spanish company Windar Renovables, which manufactures wind turbine towers and offshore foundations, announced the opening of a second production plant in Poland at CTPark Legnica, where up to 300 jobs are to be created.

The new facility will manufacture onshore wind turbine towers and is expected to start operations in the fourth quarter of 2026. The investment is intended to expand the company’s European manufacturing capacity and respond to growing demand for wind energy infrastructure in Poland and Germany, while strengthening Legnica’s role as a logistics hub for turbine component supply across Central Europe. The plant will be capable of producing up to 200 wind turbine towers per year, equivalent to more than 1,000 MW of clean energy fed into the grid.

Previous restructuring events of Windar Renovables in Poland have already been recorded in the ERM events database, including the company’s earlier business expansion in Szczecin announced in January 2026 Windar Renovables 2025
