Description
Signify Poland, the Polish lighting manufacturer belonging to Signify, is cutting 295 jobs across its sites in Piła, Łódź and Warsaw, including around 200 positions at its Piła production plant.
The restructuring is linked to the phase-out of conventional lighting production and a shift towards LED solutions and integrated lighting systems, with the redundancy process expected to continue until the end of 2026. The company said affected employees would receive severance above the statutory minimum and support from an external outplacement partner.
Signify has also announced that new competencies, processes and 3D-printing technology will be transferred to Piła, potentially creating around 100 jobs in the coming years.
