Description
Corning Optical Communications Polska, a Poland-based manufacturer of fibre optic cables and connectivity solutions and part of US-based Corning, is expanding its Stryków manufacturing campus through a third production and logistics facility, a project expected to create around 2,500 jobs.
The investment is intended to increase capacity in response to growing demand for fibre optic products for AI data centres and micro-optics markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The new facility is scheduled to begin operations in the second half of 2026 and will make Stryków the largest optical cable and connectivity manufacturing campus in the European Union. Corning currently operates two facilities at the site and employs almost 3,000 people in Stryków.
