Description
Toyota Motor Europe, the European arm of the Japanese carmaker, is to create around 200 jobs at the new Toyota Digital Hub in Wrocław, where IT specialists will develop digital services for Toyota and Lexus vehicles across Europe.
The project is intended to strengthen the company’s European software capabilities, with work focused on applications, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity supporting connected vehicle services used by nearly two million customers, including the MyToyota and LexusLink+ apps. Toyota Digital Hub in Wrocław is expected to become operational later this year. The investment builds on Toyota’s 35-year presence in Poland and its wider footprint in the country, which includes Toyota Central Europe and two manufacturing plants in Wałbrzych and Jelcz-Laskowice employing around 2,800 people. Toyota said it selected Poland for its highly skilled workforce and leading technical universities.
