European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ZREW Transformatory, a Polish manufacturer of power transformers and part of the Switzerland-based R&S Group, is creating around 200 jobs at its new purpose-build production plant in Łódź (Nowy Józefów), mainly in manufacturing roles.
The investment will double the company’s production capacity and support growing demand linked to the energy transition, while also strengthening local engineering capabilities and the industrial base of the energy sector. The new facility will include a production hall with office and welfare space and is being designed for the assembly and testing of high-power transformers. Construction is scheduled to finish before the end of summer 2026, with production expected to start at the turn of the third and fourth quarter of 2026. Recruitment is already under way for the new plant.
