Description
Rodet, a metal furniture manufacturing company based in Anneyron, made a strategic decision in 2021 to diversify and bring back its production to its home base. Founded in 1948 as an industrial locksmith company, it became part of Fermob in 2016, and evolved into producing leisure furniture for various sectors, including communities, hospitality, and DIY. In 2021, Rodet focused on expanding its capabilities by specializing in the transformation of aluminum tubes to position itself as a player in aluminum furniture production. To support this initiative, the company expressed its plan to relocate half of its Chinese production to a 800 m2 facility in Anneyron, creating 21 additional jobs.
