Description

Reitzel France is a French food company belonging to the Swiss group Reitzel. It produces and commercializes gherkins and sauces in France sold with the brand "Jardin d'Orante".  Around  15 years ago, it offshored the sourcing of pickles to Indian suppliers, since the higher productivity of local farmlands. Given the growing market request of "local products", in 2017 the company decided to launch a new product line entirely "made in France". Therefore, it decide make its supply chain shorter acquiring vegetables from suppliers located in Conneré (France).
