Steenssen, a Danish speaker manufacturer, expressed its intention to relocate production from China to Denmark, in 2020. The reshoring initiative was driven by challenges in manufacturing smaller series abroad and a growing demand in Asia for high-quality sound with a "Made in Denmark" label. Contributed to the relocation decision China's focus on mass production that limits the possibility to produce high quality products, trade barriers, and environmental impacts of transportation. Steenssen has initiated collaborations with other Danish companies such as CIM PrinTronic (electronics development and production), Alu Parts (aluminum components), and EKTOS (testing and approval).
