Telenet, a Belgian telecoms and media group, announced a 10 % reduction in its workforce, amounting to around 350 jobs, across its Belgian operations. The cuts involve consultants, retail shop staff and general employees. The reduction will be implemented buy 2028.
The restructuring is driven by the company’s aim to achieve a “healthy, efficient and future-oriented” growth trajectory, focusing on streamlining consulting roles and retail network optimisation. The company has 3,530 employees prior to the cuts, and the workforce will be reduced to roughly 3,180.
