Description
Microsoft, an American technology multinational, announced the closure of its Engineering Center in Issy-les-Moulineaux, rendering 100 employees redundant. Announced to employee representatives on the 19 February 2026, the Center was first used to regroup its engineers, and later converted to an AI center to accompany Microsoft clients. The move is driven by an organisational strategy to consolidate engineering teams into larger hubs, notably Dublin.
