Description
Safran Aircraft Engines, a French aerospace engine manufacturer, announced a 130-job creation project at its historic forge site in Gennevilliers. The initiative begins in 2026 and will be fully operational by the end of 2029.
The investment aims to support the strong growth of Safran Aircraft Engines’ civil and military activities by reinforcing its industrial capacity and strategic autonomy. It responds to the ramp-up in production of next-generation aircraft engines, including the LEAP engine, as well as military programmes and high-power engines developed with partners. The project is also part of a broader strategy to secure the supply chain and support long-term industrial growth.
Safran Aircraft Engines has over 120 years of industrial expertise, with the Gennevilliers site playing a central role in its activities through the mastery of forging, casting and machining.
