Description

AGC, a Belgian architectural glass manufacturer, announced 190 job cuts across Europe, with 103 positions to be eliminated in Belgium. The redundancies will affect the company’s headquarters in Louvain-la-Neuve and its research centre in Gosselies, Charleroi, as well as other sites. The reductions are part of a cost-cutting strategy prompted by a sharp decline in demand for architectural glass and pessimistic forecasts for the next two years.
