IBM, an American IT and consultancy company, announced 57 job cuts in its Haren site in the Brussels region, Belgium. The reductions, all direct dismissals, are set to take place in the second quarter of 2026. The company cited a transformation programme aimed at boosting productivity and controlling costs, with automation via artificial intelligence highlighted as a key driver.
