Description

Bull, a French multinational computing firm, announced the creation of 500 new jobs worldwide, including 250 in France, following its acquisition by the French state.

100 of these recruitments will take place in Clayes-sous-Bois. The other 150 will take place in Grenoble. The hiring of the other 250 positions will take place in Europe, as well as in India and Brazil.

Experts in research and development (R&D), data scientists, and HPC-AI specialists are the primary targets of this business expansion. The company plays an important role in the development of high performance servers, AI, and company software. The hiring supports France’s sovereign supercomputer strategy, strengthening AI, climate modelling, and defence capabilities. It exemplifies a digital transition effort to build a national AI ecosystem and sustain the country’s competitive edge in high-performance computing. The expansion aligns with the French government’s broader 2030 plan for digital sovereignty.

Bull has a workforce of 3,000 worldwide and in France, the company has a workforce of around 1,500.
