Description
The opening of a new motorway service station in country Clare will create 120 jobs.
The Banner Plaza on the M18 near Ennis opened in April and is part of the Plaza Group which owns and operates a number of motorway service stations around the country.The newly created roles include retail, food service and site operations.
The development, has been under construction for almost a decade and is located east of Ennis in country Clare, at a key junction between Limerick and Galway. It is part of a long-term infrastructure development aimed at improving services along the Atlantic Corridor, an area previously lacking motorway service facilities.
The Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment and Minister for Transport, formally opened the site and publicly welcomed the investment, highlighting its importance for regional connectivity and national transport infrastructure.
The Plaza Group owns and operates several motorway service stations across Ireland.
