Description
American fast food restaurant chain Popeyes is to create 500 jobs in Ireland in 2026.
The company will open its first Irish restaurant in Blanchardstown, Dublin, in spring 2026, with a second outlet planned for the city centre during the summer. Popeyes is owned globally by Restaurant Brands International. The company says Ireland offers strong growth potential, following its rapid expansion across the UK in recent years.
Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes operates around 5,000 restaurants across 40 markets worldwide. Popeyes UK, which controls the Irish franchise, operates 110 sites and employs approximately 3,500 people.
