Fantastico, a Bulgarian supermarket retail chain, opened a new store in Plovdiv that will create 130 jobs. The outlet is a small shopping centre on the International Fair grounds.
The expansion is part of the chain’s growth strategy into a competitive market. The new store, equipped with modern self‑checkout and electric‑car charging stations. The site offers a large assortment of national and international products, as well as other services such as a pharmacy and ATM and postal service.
The store in Plovdiv is the grocers first location outside of Western Bulgaria. Including its new location, the chain operates 48 stores across Bulgaria.
