European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lusíadas Saúde, a Portuguese healthcare provider, will open a new hospital in Sintra (Beloura) - Lusíadas Beloura Hospital. The new unit will create 500 new jobs and will also include an Integrated Health Centre, focused on prevention and continuity of care, as well as a Prevention and Longevity Consultation offering personalised plans, a dental clinic and home care support services.
The unit will offer a wide range of medical specialties, including Cardiology, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology and Dermatology, among others, ensuring a multidisciplinary provision of care.
Founded in 1998, Lusíadas Saúde currently employs around 8,000 healthcare professionals.
