Description
Finnish software company Relex has launched cooperation negotiations that may lead to the layoff of up to 288 employees. The company names the growing impact of artificial intelligence on software development as the reason for the needed layoffs.
The negotiations cover 722 of Relex's slightly over 900 employees in Finland, and concern mainly the company's product development.
Relex plans to focus more on high‑value expert services while shifting other parts of its work to partners. The negotiations are expected to last six weeks.
