Description
The French Ministry of the Armed Forces is recruiting 1,000 civilian professionals in the fields of systems engineering, cybersecurity and data science. This large-scale recruitment reflects the growing need for highly qualified specialists in data science, IT systems and other digital skills required to meet the demands of the modern world. The Ministry of the Armed Forces is facing strong competition from the private sector, particularly in digital and high-skilled professions, and has adapted its recruitment model accordingly.
Moreover, the Ministry has announced that, from September 2026, the national service programme will recruit 3,000 volunteers aged between 18 and 25. This programme will last ten months and will involve specific assignments, such as drone operations, medical training and cybersecurity.
