Description
Systematic, a Danish software company specialising in defence and health IT solutions, announced plans to recruit 200 new employees as part of an expansion of its Defence division: Systematic 2023 - WO. Many of the new jobs will be based at a new development centre in Copenhagen, while others will be located at the company’s headquarters in Aarhus and at its other international offices. The recruitment will be implemented over the coming two to three years.
The company will hire IT staff, mainly software developers, testers, architects and programme and project managers. The workforce expansion is driven by a sharp increase in global demand for defence software, linked to higher threat levels, rising defence spending and the digitalisation of defence forces worldwide. In particular, demand has grown strongly for Systematic’s command-and-control system SitaWare, which is increasingly used by defence forces within NATO, the EU and the Five Eyes alliance. The expansion is therefore directly related to digitalisation in the defence sector and growing security needs, rather than to outsourcing or relocation.
Systematic currently employs around 1,100 people across 11 countries and operates 13 offices worldwide. The company is Denmark’s largest privately owned software company and serves customers in more than 50 countries.
