Thales, a French defence, aerospace and cybersecurity technology group, announced the creation of 520 jobs in the Netherlands as part of a worldwide recruitment plan for more than 9,000 employees in 2026 Thales 2026 - WO.
The Dutch hiring forms part of a broader business expansion driven by strong demand and a tripling of production in the defence sector, with many of the new recruits expected to work in engineering, software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technician and operator roles.
Thales already has a significant presence in the Netherlands, with about 2,800 employees across several locations including Hengelo, Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Amersfoort.
