Description
Compassio, a German company in the care and social services sector, opened a new senior care facility in Merseburg (Saxony-Anhalt) and created approximately 100 jobs. The new positions include nursing staff as well as other employees involved in the facility’s operations and will be created as the care facility begins operations in March 2026.
The new senior living facility has 137 beds for long-term and short-term care, which are to be filled gradually. The initiative is part of the company’s expansion strategy, which includes plans for additional locations in Germany, thereby expanding its capacity in the care sector.
Staff recruitment is not yet complete, as some positions remain unfilled and additional skilled workers are being sought.
Compassio operates several care facilities in Germany and provides inpatient care services for older adults.
