Description
Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), a Polish defense contractor, has announced plans to hire over 250 new employees in 2025.
The company is specifically seeking welders, CNC operators, and quality control specialists, as well as experts in investments and structural design. The move follows a significant expansion in 2024, during which the company hired over 140 staff. The expansion is part of a broader ‘boom’ in the Polish defense sector driven by geopolitical tensions and the war in Ukraine.
Based in Stalowa Wola, HSW is a key manufacturer of heavy artillery and armored vehicles, including the Krab self-propelled howitzer and the Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle.
The recruitment is part of a broader announcement from Polish defence industry companies, including PZL Mielec: PZL Mielec 2025 - PL, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, Jelcz and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów: Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa 2025 - PL, and Huta Stalowa Wola announced the creation of around 600 new jobs in Poland.
