KNDS Deutschland, a subsidiary of KNDS, has signed a framework agreement with Alstom to take over the industrial site in Görlitz, Germany.
Under the agreement, KNDS will hire between 350 and 400 Alstom's employees at its new production site in Görlitz. The facility is expected to be fully completed by 2027, with initial production activities scheduled to begin in 2025. Additionally, another 75 employees will be hired at the various KNDS locations.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, KNDS is a leading European defence group, specialising in heavy armoured vehicles and artillery systems. The group employs about 11,500 people worldwide. Its 32 sites are located in Germany, France, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Estonia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, and Brazil.
