Description
Stef Transport, a French firm specialised in transportation, logistics of agri-food products, has announced plans to recruit 3,400 new employees in France in 2026, including 2,800 permanent contracts and 600 students (in so-called alternance contracts).
The expansion targets a range of operational and technical positions across the country, such as dock agents, order pickers, drivers, operators, managers, forklift operators, team leaders, refrigeration technicians, quality managers, sales, human resources, and IT personnel. The company says the recruitment drive is designed to support the group’s development by opening new sites, anticipating retirements, compensating natural turnover, and integrating staff with technical and digital skills.
Stef’s current workforce consists of 22,000 employees. 72% of which are dock agents, order pickers or drivers. A prior large restructuring has been recorded in the ERM database: Stef Logistique Montbartier 2014 - FR.
