Description
Hydrokit, a French firm based in Poiré-sur-Vie (Vendée), specialises in electro-hydraulic equipment for mobile machines in the agricultural, public works and industrial sectors. The company’s job saving plan (PSE) will affect roughly 10 % of its workforce, about 33 to 34 positions across its operations. The restructuring, formally approved by the labour authority at the end of December, will commence once the plan is implemented.
The restructuring has been driven by a sharp downturn in the agricultural and public works markets, with activity falling by around 30 % in 2025. Hydrokit’s 2023 turnover of €39 million and its total of 334 employees prompted the management to pursue the restructuring to avoid economic layoffs and to secure the company’s future.
With 334 employees, the company operates solely from its Poiré-sur-Vie site.
