Description
Playtika, a global mobile games publisher and developer, plans to cut 135 jobs at its Poland-based operations, mainly in Mazowieckie, as part of a wider workforce reduction.
The restructuring is driven by cost optimisation and organisational changes and is expected to take place in the near term, impacting teams such as Best Fiends and Redecor and roles in engineering, design, art, QA, and support functions.
According to the Warsaw Regional Labour Office, Playtika has committed to supporting affected employees in finding new jobs.
Playtika has undergone several restructuring rounds in recent years, including workforce reductions in 2024 (Playtika 2024 - World) and 2025 (Playtika 2025 - World), and the current 2026 round (Playtika 2026 - World), of which Poland is part, linked to a broader global downsizing of around 520 positions, reflecting sustained pressure in the global gaming industry.
