Description
The German chemical company Oxea has announced plans to cut 140 jobs in Germany across all three of its sites. The reductions would affect employees in Marl, Monheim am Rhein and Oberhausen, all located in North Rhine‑Westphalia.
The company says the measures are part of a transformation program aimed at strengthening its future competitiveness. Oxea is responding to increasing market pressure and weakening demand in key customer industries.
Discussions with employee representatives have already begun in order to find socially responsible solutions.
