Description
The bicycle manufacturer Canyon from Koblenz plans to cut 320 jobs at its core locations. A company spokesperson specified that positions will be eliminated in Koblenz and Amsterdam, although the exact number for Koblenz is still unclear.
According to the press release, the company aims to simplify operational structures. After the boom during the Covid-19 pandemic, it now has to adjust to dampened economic forecasts.
Talks with the works council have already begun.
Canyon employs a total of 1,600 people, 1,200 of which in Germany.
