Description
The Danish Debt Collection Agency (Danish: Gældsstyrelsen) is dismissing between 100 and 110 employees.
The agency falls under the Ministry of Taxation (Danish: Skatteministeriet), which ordered a nationwide reduction in staff to comply with the state's plan to decrease administrative costs presented before the summer and running until 2030. In total, the Ministry of Taxation must contribute around DKK 1.1 billion to the savings programme, with about DKK 215 million in 2026.
Currently, the Danish Debt Collection Agency's employs approximately 1,530 employees.
