Description
Docler Holding, a conglomerate involved in several activities, including adult entertainment, hospitality, sports equipment production and business consulting, with headquarters in Luxembourg and Budapest, announced a layoff of 140 employees at its Hungarian operation. The management has informed the affected employees. The layoff procedure is set to be completed by the end of February 2026.
The layoff is part of a comprehensive reorganisation effort initiated in the summer of 2025, involving all companies and locations of the conglomerate. The management has cited the need to adjust to international trends and an unfavourable international business environment.
Over the past year and a half, around 400 jobs have been lost across Docler Holding’s Hungarian operations, including 200 redundancies announced in mid-2025 Byborg SSC- 2025, 45 job losses linked to the closure of the Normafa Hotel & Retreat, and the current layoff of 140 employees.
According to anonymous insider sources, the main reasons behind the layoffs include overextension by the conglomerate, underperforming acquisitions and financial strain.
