European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The world´s largest fast food chain, McDonald’s, is to open a new restaurant in the city of Příbram, Czech Republic. The restaurant will create approximately 120 job opportunities, representing a business expansion. The grand opening is scheduled for 12 December 2025.
The company's management will focus on providing flexible working hours for employees, accommodating both part-time and full-time positions. Mothers can work in the morning and pick up their children from kindergarten, while students can only work in the afternoon or on weekends.
The opening of the McDonald’s restaurant forms part of the broader expansion of fast-food chains in the Příbram area, reflecting growing demand and increased competition in the local food service market.
