Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
MIKROMA, a French manufacturer of aircraft components operating in the aerospace sector, will create 100 new jobs in Ostrów Wielkopolski by the end of 2026. The expansion focuses on recruiting mechanically skilled workers as the company grows its production capacity.
The restructuring is an expansion initiative, offering long-term employment and opportunities for reskilling, particularly in machining and mechanical assembly roles.
MIKROMA has operated in Ostrów for 12 years, supplying mechanical components to the aerospace and machinery industries and previously producing parts for ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic.
