European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French company Wizpaper based in Wizernes and specialized in corrugated paper, is closing following the decision of the Lille commercial court. Approximately 147 employees are being laid off.
The health crisis, soaring prices, supply delays and significant financial difficulties had already weakened the company, which has previously been placed under judicial recovery at the request of the company's management. Due to the lack of a potential buyer and considering the state of the paper market, the court ordered judicial liquidation.
