Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
POSCO International Poland E-Mobility, the Polish subsidiary of the South Korean POSCO International group, has completed the construction of its first production facility in Poland within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The new plant will specialise in manufacturing electric motor cores for zero-emission vehicles, with mass production scheduled to begin in January 2026.
The investment will result in the creation of approximately 200 new jobs once operations start. Recruitment will take place mainly in production, logistics, technical and administrative roles. The facility, built by Dekpol Budownictwo, is expected to strengthen the local economy and support the development of Poland’s e-mobility industry.
The investment has been welcomed as a strategic boost for regional development and the Polish e-mobility sector.
POSCO, one of South Korea’s largest industrial groups, is expanding rapidly in Europe through large-scale investments in advanced e-mobility technologies.
