Description
Adient, an American automotive seat supplier, is being liquidated and is closing its Slovenian factory, which will result in the dismissal of 100 employees.
Adient supplies automotive seats for Renault's Clio cars. Revoz, where the Clio is manufactured, is planning to stop producing this model next year and has not renewed its contract with Adient. This termination is the reason for Adient's liquidation.
An Adient representative stated that the closure is being carried out responsibly and respectfully. The trade union representative confirmed that the 100 employees will receive legally guaranteed severance payments and additional remuneration.
