Description
Amazon will recruit 1000 new employees for its new logistics hub in Beauvais (Oise), starting in June 2026. The planned opening for the site is end of 2026. The majority of these roles willl not require prior experience or education. Specific requirements will only be used for support, security, and human resource positions, otherwise, employees will be trained by Amazon. The building of 110 800m2 was first negotiated in 2022, yet negotiations were halted, and resumed two years ago. However, some of the city's retailers have expressed their concerns about their ability of compete with digital platforms such as Amazon.
