Description
As announced on 17 September 2025, the German software company Software plans to cut 150 jobs by mid-2026. A reconciliation of interests between the company and the works council has already taken place.
In 2023, the company was acquired and largely dismantled by the U.S. financial investor Silver Lake. Originally, the German software provider was supposed to be developed as an “independent company,” but its individual divisions were gradually sold off.
Currently, only the business areas Aris (business process analysis software) and Adabas & Natural (database system and development environment) are being continued independently within Software.
