European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
EasyClean, a French cleaning services company based in Saint-Paul (La Réunion) and specialising in professional cleaning and facility maintenance, has been placed into judicial liquidation, resulting in the elimination of 118 jobs, including 7 managerial positions.
The decision was issued by the Commercial Court of Saint-Denis, following the company's placement under temporary administration in July, after the sudden death of its recently appointed director. Despite efforts to find a buyer to preserve the business as well as its workforce, no full takeover offer was accepted.
