Description
German machinery and plant manufacturer Dürr plans to cut around 500 administrative jobs worldwide by the end of 2026 as part of its corporate restructuring, with more than half of these cuts affecting Germany. The global restructuring programme has been recorded in the ERM Dürr - 2025 - WO
The aim is to adapt the administration to the smaller size of the company following the sale of its environmental technology division and to increase efficiency. In addition, the tense order situation resulting from global tariff conflicts and investment restraints is weighing on the company's economic situation. The company has announced that it will carry out the job cuts in a socially responsible manner.
Dürr has around 18,300 employees and 139 locations in 33 countries.
