Description
Flutter Entertainment, the world’s largest online sports betting and e-gaming Gaming operator, has announced plans to cut more than 200 jobs in Ireland and the UK as part of a strategy to unify its brands under a single tech platform.
Most of the affected roles are in the technology and product teams, with nearly all job cuts expected at the Leeds office and fewer than 10 positions impacted in Dublin, Ireland.
The decision comes amid rising operational costs and regulatory pressures. Consultations with staff are ongoing, and the company is exploring redeployment options where possible.
Founded in 2019, Flutter Entertainment operates in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, Italy, Romania, Georgia, the Netherlands, Portugal, and India. The company employs about 23,000 people worldwide.
