Description
Henkel, a manufacturer of household chemicals, plans to close its Racibórz plant, with 159 people losing their jobs.
The decision was prompted by changing consumer demand and the need to adapt the company's offer. Employees were informed of the decision on 25 June, and the lay-offs will last until the end of November 2025. The company will offer severance packages and benefits to the departing employees, as well as assistance in finding new jobs and cooperation with local authorities.
The German company has been operating in Poland since 1990 and is present in two business areas: Henkel Consumer Brands and Henkel Adhesive Technologies. It will continue its operations at its plants in Stąporków and Dzierżoniów
