Description
GreenGo Energy has announced a revised Megaton project in Ringkøbing-Skjern, shifting from its original large-scale plan to a smaller biometanol production facility with significantly fewer wind turbines and solar panels. According to Anders Heine Jensen, Director for PtX and Megaton projects, the new concept is expected to create about 160 permanent jobs, slightly more than previously planned. The updated project will consist of more decentralized facilities across Denmark, including eight new wind turbines and 650 hectares of solar panels, resulting in a reduced environmental impact.
