European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The temporary work agency ManPower Group is set to open its European campus for Global Business Services (GBS) in Porto, North Portugal. This investment will create 300 new jobs. The country's skilled and multilingual workforce was the main reason behind the decision to implement GBS in Portugal.
There are various positions to be filled, notably in the areas of finance, accounting, analytics, and process control. This strategic operations centre aims to enhance the delivery of financial services across Europe using advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and people-centred solutions.
